Pacific Islands Marine Bioinvasion Alert Network (PacMAN)

The PacMAN project will increase the technical and scientific capacity in marine invasive species early warning and early detection using the latest technologies in genomics and metabarcoding (eDNA).

It will also directly support the implementation of national and international policies with the aim to reduce and prevent the introduction of new invasive species into the marine environment.

PacMAN scientific training course on eDNA for detecting marine invasive species is now freely accessible on: https://bit.ly/3AO2wS1

PacMAN was introduced in Webinar 4 of the OBON Network Spotlight series – view on YouTube.
