OBON Annual Meeting 2024

The OBON Annual Meeting took place from 6-8 Nov 2024 at Plymouth Marine Laboratory in the UK.

The agenda included break-out or plenary sessions dedicated to the following topics:

Technology development
Protocols/methodology
Data (standardisation etc)
Reference libraries
Capacity development
Connecting with policy.

There was an opportunity for endorsed projects to introduce themselves and/or provide brief updates, as well as invited presentations from other relevant projects/programmes across the Ocean Decade.

OBIS Data Workshop (Chair: Saara Suominen)

In addition to the main meeting, Saara Suominen conducted a Hands-on “Introduction to OBIS” session, where she explained the steps for project data formatting and submission to OBIS (https://obis.org/). You can access a recording of the session on YouTube.
